Enter your mattress size — the app checks CR-V cargo length (35–72" with seats up/down), width (47"), and loading options.
Whether it fits depends on measurements most people get wrong.
CR-V cargo width (47") vs. mattress width (twin 38", full 54", queen 60", king 76")
Item: Twin: 38" × 75". Full: 54" × 75". Queen: 60" × 80". King: 76" × 80"
Space: CR-V cargo (seats folded): 72" L × 47" W × 35" H. Volume: 76.5 cu ft. Seats up: 35" L, 36.3 cu ft
Actual clear openings are usually 1–2″ smaller than the labeled size.
Your exact dimensions probably aren't "standard." Small measurement errors cause big problems — 1 inch can be the difference between fitting and getting stuck.
Verdicts are calculated by comparing all 6 item orientations against the space dimensions using verified building code standards. See our methodology

Standard sizes say it works — but your measurements are what matter.
A queen mattress is 60 × 80 inches. Most SUV cargo areas are shorter than 80 inches. Here's which SUVs actually work — and the tricks that make it possible.
SUVs range from 30 to 145 cubic feet of cargo space. Here's what that translates to in real furniture — and which SUVs are best for hauling.

Yes — a twin mattress (38" × 75") fits in the CR-V with rear seats folded. The 38" width fits within the 47" cargo width with room to spare. The 75" length is 3" longer than the 72" cargo floor, so push it gently against the front seat backs or angle slightly. Very easy fit.
Not flat — a queen (60" × 80") exceeds both the CR-V cargo width (47") and length (72"). A foam queen can be rolled to approximately 20" diameter × 60", which fits easily. You can also fold a foam queen in half (30" × 80") and it fits in the cargo area. Innerspring queens do not fit inside a CR-V.
Slightly — the CR-V is 3" wider (47" vs. 44") and has 76.5 cu ft of maximum cargo vs. the RAV4's 69.8 cu ft. Both fit a twin easily. Neither fits a queen flat. The CR-V's flatter cargo floor gives it a small edge for stability during transport.
A full mattress (54" × 75") is 7" wider than the CR-V cargo floor (47"). It can sit above the wheel wells with slight overhang, creating a tight but workable fit. The 75" length exceeds the 72" cargo floor by 3". A foam full folded in half (27" × 75") fits without any issues.
