Multi-step guides for real-world moves
Barely — with rear seats folded, the Camry offers about 65" of pass-through length, which is 10" shorter than a twin (75"). A thin foam twin can be bent slightly to fit through the pass-through and angle from trunk to cabin. A standard innerspring twin will not fit inside a Camry.
No standard mattress fits flat in a Camry. Even with seats folded, the 65" pass-through length and 44" width cannot accommodate a twin (38" × 75") flat. A crib mattress (28" × 52") is the largest mattress that fits flat in the Camry trunk area.
For a foam mattress, roll it tightly with ratchet straps — a rolled twin (about 15" diameter × 38") fits in the Camry trunk without folding seats. For a queen or king, rent a pickup truck ($20–40 for 75 minutes from Home Depot) or use a roof rack with a mattress bag.
