Standard washers are 27" wide and fit through 28"+ doors. Compact units (24") fit almost any doorway.
Whether it fits depends on measurements most people get wrong.
Standard washer 27" + 1" clearance = 28" minimum clear opening = 30" nominal door.
Item: Standard washer: 27"W × 27–31"D × 36"H. Compact: 24"W × 24"D × 34"H.
Space: 28" door = ~26.5" clear. 30" door = ~28.5". 32" door = ~30.5".
Actual clear openings are usually 1–2″ smaller than the labeled size.
Your exact dimensions probably aren't "standard." Small measurement errors cause big problems — 1 inch can be the difference between fitting and getting stuck.
Verdicts are calculated by comparing all 6 item orientations against the space dimensions using verified building code standards. See our methodology

Standard sizes say it works — but your measurements are what matter.
A standard 27"-wide washer fits through any door with 28"+ clear opening. That includes most 30" doors (28.5" clear). For 28" doors (26.5" clear), you need a compact 24" washer.
Stack them after they're in the room, not before. Each unit (27"×27") fits through a 30" door individually. The stacking kit connects them in place. Never try to move them pre-stacked.
