ItemFits for Shopify

Changelog

New features, improvements and fixes in the ItemFits Shopify app, newest first. Each date is the day the change went live.

  • New

Branding has its own page, with tabs per widget part and a new option to use just your logo as the chat button.

Store logos keep their own shape, and branded colours follow your accent colour.

  • New

A daily email shows how many of your products are ready for fit checks and what to do next.

It is skipped on days with nothing new and waits while your catalog is being re-checked.

  • New

The chat can check a room plan, like a bed, nightstands, dresser and chest in a 13 x 11 ft bedroom.

On a set's product page it answers piece by piece instead of telling the shopper to ask the store. Works in English and Spanish.

  • Improved

Product Fit is easier to use on phones, with a clearer answer sheet, larger tap targets and a simpler door form.

Shoppers no longer see stray formatting tags or raw formulas in answers.

  • Improved

Automatic size detection handles furniture sets better and can estimate each piece a listing names.

It reads more listing formats, leaves out warranties, gift cards and fees, and retries products that hit a daily sizing limit.

  • New

Reports have a By month view and show where size gets in the way of sales and what shoppers ask about.

Home also shows a This month summary.

  • Improved

Vehicle checks try every cargo layout and say which one works, such as "fits with the rear seats folded".

Shoppers can search vehicles by year or pick a body type if theirs isn't listed. Vehicle checks are on every plan.

  • Improved

When a shopper names a product, the chat asks "Did you mean …?" and answers using your store's listed size.

If no size is on file it offers "Enter its size". Sizes read from a description, or awaiting your review, are hedged rather than stated as certain.

  • New

Door checks can include the turn just inside the door, where a wall or hallway starts right behind it.

  • New

Answers now have a "Show the math" button that walks shoppers through the setup, the calculation and why.

  • Improved

Reviewing suggested sizes is more accurate, and your store's own unit is pre-selected.

Sizes labelled for a different bed size are never proposed, and approved sizes shoppers already see now show as ready.
