Enter your sofa dimensions and SUV model — the app checks cargo length, width, liftgate opening, and loading orientation.
Whether it fits depends on measurements most people get wrong.
SUV cargo length (seats folded) vs. sofa length (loveseat 52–60", standard 84")
Item: Loveseat: 52–60" L × 30–35" D × 30–36" H. Standard 3-seat sofa: 84" L × 35" D × 33" H
Space: Compact SUV: 70–75" L × 44" W. Mid-size SUV: 75–85" L × 48" W. Full-size SUV: 85–95" L × 48–52" W
Actual clear openings are usually 1–2″ smaller than the labeled size.
Your exact dimensions probably aren't "standard." Small measurement errors cause big problems — 1 inch can be the difference between fitting and getting stuck.
Verdicts are calculated by comparing all 6 item orientations against the space dimensions using verified building code standards. See our methodology

Standard sizes say it works — but your measurements are what matter.
Your couch is wider than your door. Here are 7 proven techniques to get it through — from tilting angles to door removal to the pivot-and-slide method.
A 10-foot truck holds about 1 bedroom worth of furniture. Here's exactly what fits — and when you need to size up to a 15 or 20-footer.
SUVs range from 30 to 145 cubic feet of cargo space. Here's what that translates to in real furniture — and which SUVs are best for hauling.
Full-size SUVs like the Chevy Tahoe (85" cargo length), Suburban (95"), and Ford Expedition (85") can fit a standard 84" sofa with seats folded. Mid-size SUVs like the Explorer and Pilot (75–85") may fit shorter sofas. Compact SUVs (RAV4, CR-V at 70–75") can only fit loveseats.
Yes — a loveseat (52–60" long) fits in most compact SUVs (RAV4, CR-V, Tucson, Outback) with rear seats folded (70–75" cargo length). Remove the legs, tilt on its side or back, and load through the liftgate. Wrap in a moving blanket to protect both the loveseat and SUV interior.
Pickup trucks are better for full-size sofas — a standard bed (78") fits an 84" couch with the tailgate down, and the open bed makes loading easier. SUVs are better for loveseats and smaller sofas because they offer enclosed, weather-protected transport. For a full couch, a truck or cargo van is the better choice.
Remove the legs. Fold all rear seats flat. Tilt the sofa on its side (back facing up). Angle it through the liftgate, sliding the longer end in first. Use moving blankets on the cargo floor and liftgate edge. Have a second person guide the sofa from outside. Push it fully in and close the liftgate to check clearance.
