Sectionals come apart into individual pieces. Measure each section's depth — the deepest piece determines your minimum door width.
Whether it fits depends on measurements most people get wrong.
Measure each section depth separately. Deepest piece (34–40") on tilt needs 30–34" clear opening.
Item: Armless section: 34–38"D. Corner: 38–42"D. Chaise: 64–72"L × 34–40"D.
Space: 30" door = ~28.5" clear. 32" door = ~30.5". 34" door = ~32.5".
Actual clear openings are usually 1–2″ smaller than the labeled size.
Your exact dimensions probably aren't "standard." Small measurement errors cause big problems — 1 inch can be the difference between fitting and getting stuck.
Verdicts are calculated by comparing all 6 item orientations against the space dimensions using verified building code standards. See our methodology

Standard sizes say it works — but your measurements are what matter.
Sectionals separate into pieces. Each armless section (34–38" deep) fits through a 30" door tilted. The chaise (34–40" deep) may need a 32–34" door. Measure the deepest individual piece.
If the chaise section is too deep for your door, check for a window entry or see if the chaise has removable legs/arms. Some modular sectionals like IKEA's have pieces that fully break down.
