Upright pianos (58" wide × 24" deep) need a 50"+ window opening on the narrow side. Grand pianos require crane service and very large windows.
Whether it fits depends on measurements most people get wrong.
Upright: 24"D needs 26"+ window width, 58"W needs 60"+ window height. Grand: 58"×60–72" body.
Item: Upright: 58"W × 24"D × 48"H (400–800 lbs). Baby grand body: 58"×60" (500–700 lbs).
Space: Standard double-hung: 32"×52" clear. Often too short for upright pianos. Picture window preferred.
Actual clear openings are usually 1–2″ smaller than the labeled size.
Your exact dimensions probably aren't "standard." Small measurement errors cause big problems — 1 inch can be the difference between fitting and getting stuck.
Verdicts are calculated by comparing all 6 item orientations against the space dimensions using verified building code standards. See our methodology

An upright piano going in depth-first (24") needs a window 26"+ wide — most windows work. But it's 58" in the other dimension, so the window height must be 60"+ if going on its back, or 50"+ if going on its side. Large windows or removed sashes are typically needed.
A baby grand (58"×60" body) needs a window opening of at least 62"×28" (entering on its side). A full grand (58"×72") needs 74"×28". These require large picture windows or bay windows. Most standard double-hung windows are too small for grands.
