Enter your mattress size and truck bed measurements — the app checks bed length, width, and tailgate-down options.
Whether it fits comes down to the measurements most people skip.
Real openings run about 1 to 2 inches under the labeled size, and a single inch can flip the result. Check your own measurements before you buy or move.

Bed length with tailgate up unless the fit is tight (short bed needs the tailgate down). Queen (60") and King (76") widths exceed the ~52" between wheel wells and ride above them; King overhangs the sides — use side rails.
Measure smart
Four numbers decide nearly every fit check. Get these right and the rest follows.
Don't make these
Most “it didn't fit” stories trace back to one of these oversights.
Frequently asked
A queen mattress (60" × 80") does not fit flat in a short bed (65" long) with the tailgate up — it's 15" too long. With the tailgate down, the mattress overhangs about 15–18" which is manageable for short trips. The 60" width sits above the 52" wheel wells with slight overhang on each side.
01A king mattress (76" × 80") fits in a standard bed (78") or long bed (97") with the tailgate up. In a short bed (65"), the king overhangs 15" even with the tailgate down. Width-wise, the 76" king is wider than the truck bed (64") and will overhang the sides — use side rails or a bed extender for support.
02Use at least 4 ratchet straps (not bungee cords) looped through the bed tie-down hooks. Crisscross two straps over the top to prevent wind lift. Place the mattress in a waterproof mattress bag first. For highway driving, add a cargo net on top. Never rely on the mattress's weight alone — wind will lift it.
03Absolutely — truck beds expose mattresses to rain, road dust, insects, and debris. A mattress bag costs $10–$20 and is essential for any distance over a few blocks. Seal the bag completely with tape. Even on a sunny day, road grime and truck bed residue will stain an unbagged mattress.
