A full-size futon in the sofa (folded) position is ~54 in wide, 35–40 in deep, and 33–36 in tall. Flattened into a bed it becomes ~54 × 75 in (full mattress) and only ~8–10 in tall. A queen futon is 60 in wide / 60 × 80 in flat. The FOLDED depth (35–40 in) is what must clear a doorway; the flat bed length only matters once it is assembled in the room. The frame unbolts and the mattress moves separately.
