Four numbers decide nearly every fit check. Get these right and the rest follows.
- 01The opening width and height of the trunk or liftgate, not just the total volume, since the opening is what an item has to pass through.
- 02The load-floor length behind the rear seats, then again with the seats folded.
- 03The height available under the roofline or parcel shelf, measured at the lowest point.
- 04Your item at its widest point, including feet, handles, and packaging.

How much cargo space does a Honda Odyssey have?
32.8 cu ft behind the 3rd row, about 88 cu ft with 3rd row stowed, and 144.9 cu ft with the 2nd row removed and 3rd stowed. The cargo floor extends to about 92" with both rear rows cleared.
01Can I fit a queen mattress in an Odyssey?
A flat queen (60" × 80") exceeds the 48" cargo width. Rolled foam queens fit. With the 2nd row removed, a spring queen loads diagonally and fits at an angle.
02Odyssey vs. Sienna cargo?
Odyssey has more max cargo (144.9 vs. 101 cu ft) because its 2nd-row seats fully remove. Sienna’s 2nd row folds in place but doesn’t remove, capping its max. For furniture moves, Odyssey wins; for quick runs they’re close.
